The Platform

Metrifox acts as a comprehensive monetization runtime and revenue intelligence platform that handles complex metering, entitlements, and invoicing, empowering engineering and finance teams to manage flexible pricing models and analyze revenue insights without rewriting custom billing code.

The Challenge

Software businesses, particularly in the AI space, often waste critical engineering cycles hardcoding pricing logic and custom billing infrastructure. A flexible, decoupleable monetization runtime was required to let product and finance teams iterate on pricing without code changes.

The Solution

I spearheaded the frontend architecture for the Metrifox platform, creating a highly modular and accessible interface for configuring complex metering and billing logic.

Key Contributions

• Pricing Engine & Credit System: Engineered the frontend interfaces for a complex pricing engine, enabling dynamic credit-based billing models, feature toggles, and flexible tier configurations.
• Analytics & Tenant Insights: Built robust, real-time analytics dashboards providing tenants with deep insights into usage metrics, revenue flow, and user behavior.
• Invoicing & Alerts: Developed comprehensive invoicing workflows and a sophisticated real-time alerting system for usage thresholds and critical billing events.
• Localization Architecture: Designed and orchestrated a scalable localization pipeline, ensuring seamless multi-language support across the entire platform.
• Client SDKs: Contributed to the development and maintenance of client-side SDKs, enabling seamless integration of Metrifox's monetization logic into diverse tech stacks.
• Design System & Architecture: Built and maintained a headless-compatible design system and implemented scalable state management using Zustand to ensure a seamless developer and user experience.
